Here is part 2 from our family vacation! Gosh, I want to be back on vacation so bad, and the fact that summer is almost over is making me so sad. We’re really going to soak up the sun for the next couple of weeks because this summer has felt like it has gone by wayyy too fast!
McCormick’s Creek 2020 | Part 1
Hi everyone! I have a couple of posts coming up from our family vacation to McCormick’s Creek in Indiana! McCormick’s Creek is a family tradition, and it is just the best! This year was amazing because everyone was able to go- 37 fun, cute, amazing people. We played in the pool, hung out, went to dinner, and so much more. My favorite part was getting to hang out with everyone and playing Spike Ball which is kinda like a mini volleyball game with a bouncy net and 4 players total. Also, playing with Georgia in the pool was just the best, and she did so well swimming in her puddle jumper. She LOVED jumpingĀ to me and Greg into the pool.
These pictures are from a night we went out to dinner. Afterwards we stopped for a treat at the yummiest ice cream shop that we stop at every year. Then, we went back to the hotel and all hung out outside well into the night. Georgia loved playing with all of her little cousins (they’re all the sweetest!), and one of her favorite parts was walking up and down the stairs at the side of the hotel.
Here are the posts from 2019 and 2018 !
P.S. Shoutout to my brother, Kevin- he took some of these fantastic pics!!
McCormick’s Creek 2019
We had the best time at McCormick’s Creek this year. I remember last year how I was just dreaming about getting to bring Georgia here fo the first time, and we were so excited to be on our first family vacation with her! She loved playing in the pool, and getting to see everyone everyday! She was splashing, and she LOVED the rubber duckies that my mom brought for her. It was the best soaking up the sun, being in the pool, and we even all had a race- Greg won and Livi was a close second lol.
While we were there we went to a winery. lt was the most beautiful night, and everyone had some wine, a grilled cheese, and we shared charcuterie! We also went to the Hilltop restaurant while we were there which is where the family picture was taken. We’ve been going to the Hilltop for forever, and I just love going there because we all had some fried chicken and mashed potatoes. So it’s some real comfort food with everyone we love!
Greg and I also loved getting to spend 4 full days together, and I love how going on vacation together always makes us feel so connected! One of my favorite parts was sharing a glass of wine together in our hotel room because it immediately reminded me of us being on our honeymoon. We can’t wait for our next trip!
