Date Night!
I love dates, and last Friday I was dying to go on a date (gosh, I can’t believe it’s already been a week)! Anyway, I think the reason I wanted to go on a date sooo badly was because we have been so busy. In the last month we moved, Greg finished his first classes for his bachelor’s, and I have been busy working on my master’s! Plus, it’s the end of the school year and the busy season at Greg’s work. So a good date night was much needed! I texted Greg at work and asked him if he wanted to go on a date, and he was all in! I made reservations at our favorite restaurant, Medici, and I was so so excited! After work, I went to the gym, and then I rushed home to get ready. I could not wait to get all dressed up and go out! Spring is definitely in the air, and I think that is partly why I was so excited! We held hands and walked outside and had such a yummy dinner. We also watched Grey’s Anatomy when we got home. This weekend I want to plan a date that has outdoor seating because I feel like that is even more romantic! We’re also looking for a patio set and a fire pit because we want to be able to really enjoy our backyard!
Also, I can’t wait for summer so I can write on our blog more. When we get super busy I always miss writing a lot! Also, on Sunday we won 2nd in a bass fishing competition so hopefully I will have that video up soon! Lol this blog post was a little bit all over the place, but happy weekend!

5 Random Things I Love About Greg!
- Greg is amazing at getting every little bit of toothpaste out of the tube. It is seriously magical. We do not waste any Crest in our house because of him, and every time I think we’ve run out of toothpaste, he squeezes some on to my brush for me, and it honestly fills my heart with love every single time.
- He has the best classic country singing voice, and he is always telling me I need to sing louder in the car so that he can hear.
- He cuts my steak up for me and my chicken when it’s still on the bone.
- He is amazing at folding clothes. He worked retail in high school so his shirt folding ability is off the charts, and when he fold shirts, they’re so neat, and it is so satisfying!
- Yesterday, he brought us glasses of red wine with straws in the glass so that are teeth stay super white. It was just so cute and so thoughtful!
P.S. I totally felt like Daphne from Scooby Doo in this dress, but I absolutely loved it! It has such a fun print for springtime!
