These took me a while to post, but I had to share Georgia’s 2nd Easter! She loved her little chick that hopped and putting her Easter eggs in her basket!
Our Easter!
I love that this year is a year of firsts! It is Georgia’s first everything, and we had so much fun celebrating her first Easter! We went up to my parent’s house on Saturday evening, and the whole weekend was so much fun.
On Sunday morning, we got up early and went to Easter mass. I love the story of the Resurrection, and mass was beautiful. After mass, we all had coffee together and hung out in my parent’s kitchen. Georgia got to play with the toys that the Easter bunny brought her, which was just too cute! Right now, she just wants to put everything in her mouth, she can hold her toys, and loves to play. We also got to go outside because it was so nice out. We sat in front, and Kevin and Greg played catch. Olivia and Georgia played on the swing, and we were all so happy to soak up the sun!
Then, we had the yummiest Easter dinner! My mom made ham, au gratin potatoes, and green bean casserole! Her ham is my absolute favorite, and we ended dinner with an exchange of shoulder rubs lol- it was so relaxing!
We ended the night at my Auntie Mar’s and Uncle Steve’s house for dessert. We had strawberry shortcake and key lime pie (which I want to learn how to make)! We all sat outside together, and it was just the best. My favorite part of any holiday is spending time with family!
Oh, and one more thing! Georgia loves it when my dad calls her a good girl. He does it in the cutest voice with his Irish accent, and it just makes her smile and giggle like crazy!
