We had our gender reveal on Sunday, and it was absolutely amazing! Our families and some of our friends came to find out if baby was a boy or girl. Our friend, Justin was in charge of looking at the email that had baby’s gender, and then he grabbed the right color poppers for everyone. He did such a good job and kept such a straight face even after he knew! I felt kind of relieved once he knew, too because I was just dying for someone to know, and it meant we got to find out in a matter of minutes! Also, it was so funny because I had gotten the email on Friday, and I was dying to open it, and I even begged Greg several times to peak. I kept getting butterflies every time I thought about it. I am so happy that he said absolutely not, though, because popping confetti with everyone we love was so much more fun!
I had actually had two dreams that at the gender reveal we found out baby was a girl, so my dreams were right! Greg also said that when we first found out we we’re having a baby that he thought it was a girl! We had everyone pick what they thought baby’s gender would be when they came in, and everyone wore a pink or blue ribbon with a little pacifier on it. My sweet parents and brother and sister also bought baby her first gift, too. It is the cutest little piano that baby can play with her feet!
We are just over the moon, and December cannot come soon enough! I’ve been looking at little baby girl clothes non-stop, and I cannot wait to play Barbie, and we will have to get G.I. Joe for Greg, too!
