Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we absolutely love Valentine’s Day. It’s actually the day that Greg asked me to be his girlfriend in 2014. It was the sweetest day, and I had made him a homemade Valentine that was made with pink and purple construction paper, glitter, and a ribbon! I wrote in it that it was the best Valentine’s Day ever, and every Valentine’s Day has been the best ever since then.
So, for today’s blog post, we decided to do a Valentine’s Day Q & A, so here it is!
Favorite romantic movie? My favorite is Dirty Dancing, and Greg said that his is our YouTube channel (lol when I asked him this question, this is what he said. So sweet and funny!)
Favorite candy? Mine is dark chocolate M&M’s and Greg’s is gummy bears!
Lace ribbon or Silky ribbon? I definitely say silky and Greg thinks lace (This question was really funny to ask Greg. He didn’t understand why I was asking him, but I think it’s a must for a Valentine’s Day Q & A!). Plus, I just love anything silky- my blankie, a silky dress, or a ribbon just make me happy!
Favorite memory in the last year? Our favorite memory would definitely be our wedding and honeymoon! I seriously wish I could blink my eyes and relive both!
Perfect date? My perfect date would be an early morning breakfast and spending a whole day on the water with Greg in the shining sun or a hike! Greg’s perfect date is a picnic by a lake with a fishing pole!
Which Valentine’s color is your favorite (pink, purple, red, or white)? Mine is pink all the way and it’s Greg’s too, but only the light baby pink. He said no bright pink.
Favorite place for a dinner date? Honestly, for me it’s our own kitchen. Greg makes the best steak and mashed sweet potatoes, and I love being able to cuddle up on the couch afterwards. Greg love Medici. He loves the beer can chicken and their coffee can ribeye. Plus, it is decorated so cute inside. The tables are this very pretty wood, and there is a tree through the middle of it.
Favorite love song? We both say Mean to Me by Brett Eldridge. It’s our wedding song, and we jam out every time we hear it.
Sunset or Sunrise? Oh gosh, definitely both for me, and Greg loves sunsets.
Best Romantic gift for under $10? If I am buying for Greg it would be a snickers or gummy bears, a can of Copenhagen, and a homemade card! If Greg were buying for me it would be flowers (He actually bought me flowers this week, and they were so pretty, but we forgot to put water in the vase, so they were really thirsty and droopy the next morning, but we watered them and they perked up a little!).
Anyway, we hope you loved our Q & A, and we hope you have an amazing love filled Valentine’s Day!
