Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! I am back this week with a new heart to heart. I had the most amazing winter break from work and even got a couple of extra days off with this crazy weather. My favorite part about being off is getting to have lunch with Greg. Also, the holidays were so amazing, and we are loving our little puppy, Arthur. His little personality is coming out, and it is just so cute! We found treats that he actually likes, and when I grabbed the bag of them tonight to give him one he got all excited!
Anyway, with this being my first week back at work, we have started focusing on our of our 2018 goals. One of our big ones is keeping our house more organized. I always organize on Saturdays, but I love it when our house is all put together so we are trying to keep it that way during the week, too. I had a little breakthrough about it because I always feel like I can get a lot done, but when it came to putting things away at the end of the night it never really got done. So, I have been writing down the little chores that will keep everything neat, and it is working so much better! I love crossing things off a list, and it keeps me focused on the goal.
I have also been listening to Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations recently , and Oprah and Gretchen Rubin, one of her guests, were talking about how staying organized boosts happiness, and I totally agree with this because after everything is neat you feel so good and it’s a total refresh. It’s and instant mood booster, and I love that about it! So, I am hoping we can stick to it (I really think we can) and enhance our lives with better organization and more happy!
My new planner I bought! It has so much room for to-do lists, reminders, and my schedule! I even write little positive quotes in it.
