So on Sunday, oh my gosh, I cannot believe it is Thursday night already; the end of the summer is going way too fast! Anyway, on Sunday Greg and I went golfing. It was the best because the golf course was pretty much empty, which meant we could take our time at each hole, and the weather was perfect. There was just a slight breeze and the sun was peeking in and out of the clouds. I was so happy to go out golfing because all summer I have just been so sleepy. I was actually surprised at how good my driving and chipping was. Usually I am really bad at chipping, but Greg explained that I had to let the club hit the grass first when using the wedge, and I totally got the hang of it! Then, at every hole I could not wait to chip even if it meant I was in the sand!
Today, we spent the day at the pool and grilled out. We keep wishing that we had a pool right in our backyard, and I have been looking at them online lol. We also just watched Spanglish (an older movie with Adam Sandler), and it was really really good right until the end!
Anyway, I thought I would do a little bumpdate seeing as we’re 19 weeks on Saturday! Almost halfway there!
Bumpdate
How Far Along? Almost 19 weeks (18 weeks 5 days to be exact) Maternity Clothes? No, my bump hasn’t really popped yet so everything I have still fits! Sleep? Oh yes! I have been so so sleepy! I was hoping that after the first trimester I would have all of my energy back, but that hasn’t exactly happened. The good thing is the I have had more energy the last couple of days, and I have also been feeling less sick. Best moment this week? Playing in the pool all day today with Greg, and also we were looking at baby clothes at Von Maur together on Sunday, and we were just getting so excited! It’s all so soft and teeny and adorable! Movement: I have definitely been feeling little flutters, and Greg has been hoping he can feel her too! Food Cravings: I haven’t really had cravings, but anything salty is so good! I bought baby dill pickles (this made Greg laugh), and they really hit the spot! Lol Anything making you queasy? Yea, I have to be totally in the mood to eat something or it’s not happening, and chicken has been something that I have not been in the mood for. The other night I made it for dinner hoping I would like it, and I ate one bite and couldn’t eat anymore.. What we’re looking forward to: For the bump to pop, to feel her move more and more, and to see her sweet little face at our 20 week ultrasound!
