Hi everyone! Welcome to another vlog! We went to Gail’s Pumpkin Patch here in Central Illinois, and it was Georgia’s first time visiting a pumpkin patch! XOXO, Hope you enjoy!
The Third Annual Heller Cup
The Third Annual Heller Cup took place this past Sunday. This is the golf tournament between the two Heller dealerships- Heller Motors (where Greg works) and Heller Ford. For the past two years, I was the scorekeeper and photographer. This year, Georgia, and I went out to take photos at the end of the day, and John Warren and Dan Wickman took over as the scorekeepers.
Luckily, John was able to give me the low down on how the day went. He said that the Heller Motors had a very consistent day of golf. This is what enabled them to take the lead early on. After 18 holes, they were ahead, but the competition was still fierce. Heller Ford regrouped, and they played strong for the last 9 holes. Heller Motors, kept their lead, though, and ended up winning for the third year in a row by 57.5 to 50.
From the Heller Motors side, Nate Tissiere was awarded MVP. Also, Justin Gillard had an amazing shot out of the sand. He hit the ball 250 yards out of the bunker and made it just to the edge of the green! Overall, it was a great day of golf with great weather, and Georgia and I were so happy to see all of the golfers and especially Greg at the end of the day!
Congratulations to all of the guys at Heller Motors on their third consecutive Heller Cup Championship!
My Recent Target Run
I wanted to share some of my recent purchases from Target. Everyone loves a Target run, and Georgia and I love to go down every aisle and buy our favorite items and try new ones out too. Here’s a little review of what I bought.
- Method Products- I love their toilet bowl cleaner! It smells sooo good. It’s minty, and I think it makes my whole bathroom smell super fresh. This time I also decided to try their bathroom cleaner spray that has the same scent. I think the bathroom cleaner spray is new because I had never seen it before, and I usually use some other eco friendly cleaner. I honestly did not like the spray as much. It felt like it was tickling my nose. I will probably go back to my other spray for the bathroom, but the toilet bowl cleaner is still my fave!
- Kristen Ess Shampoo & Conditioner- I wanted to try these out because I had heard great things about them. They’re sulfate free, and I really liked that. Also, they made me hair SUPER shiny and soft. I do wish I liked the smell better, though!
- Baby bibs- I picked these out at Target because Georgia is loving baby food these days, and she needed a couple more bibs. I really love these. They wash so nicely, they’re very pretty, and they’re comfy for her.
- Munchkin straw sippy cup- We have been practicing with a sippy cup, and this is the one we have had the most success with so far. Georgia loves to suck on the straw, but she also likes to chew on it lol. This cup has a weighted straw so Georgia can lift the cup up, and she can still get milk out of it which is really good!

Anyway, I hope you liked my review, and if you have any great finds from Target that you would like to share, let me know in a comments down below!
Baby, You’re a Firework!
Here are our pictures from the 4th of July! We had the best day- we went to the parade by my Bebe’s house with my mom, dad, sister, brother, and my aunts and uncle and cousins, had such a fun lunch at my parent’s house (my mom ordered subs and made a yummy cake and my sister made the prettiest sugar cookies with firework swirls on them), and then, Greg grilled out in the evening at our house after we put Georgia to bed. I love celebrating holidays with family, and it was such a special day for Georgia’s first 4th of July!
She was so cute trying to pull her sunhat off by pulling it down, and the warm weather made her cheeks all rosy. She also loved getting to hold a cold water bottle straight from the fridge. It’s all these little things that I never ever want to forget. Gosh, I love being a mom more than anything in the world!
P.S. I can’t believe it is July 7th, and this is my first blog post of the month. I’m writing it now at 12:53 am because I haven’t been able to fall asleep tonight, and Georgia just woke up so I got up to rock her back to sleep, and I figured I could write my blog post now! Hopefully I will be able to fall asleep after this. 🙂 Also, I think I’m having trouble falling asleep because Georgia starts mommy and me swim lessons tomorrow, and I am just so excited!
Hope you all have a great Monday!
Wrap Dress
Happy Tuesday, everyone! I don’t know about you, but I have had the most productive day! The birds were chirping outside our windows this morning, and it just sounded like spring, and I honestly think that may have something to do with it. I cleaned out our closet, got a ton of homework for my master’s done, and Georgia and I did some shopping. We went to Sam’s Club and Von Maur, and it has just been the best.
Anyway, I thought I’d share these pictures because there is seriously nothing better than a wrap dress. They are perfect for dinner dates, work, church, or any other event/ occasion that you need to get a little dressy for. I just think they are so feminine, especially because they accentuate the waist. I wore this to our baptism class for Georgia’s baptism!
P.S. Greg and I want to take a cooking class! Greg is such a good cook, and we love spending time in the kitchen together, and we were saying last night how fun it would be to do one of those date night cooking classes. Have any of you ever done one? It sounds so fun! I’m going to check Groupon and see if there is one we can do!
Georgia’s Nursery Reveal
Happy Wednesday! Today, I thought I would share Georgia’s nursery. Right now, she is still sleeping in her bassinet in our room, and I love having her sleep right next to us! Her nursery, though, is probably my favorite room in the house! It is so cozy and girly, and it just feels so good in there. Greg and I both love to rock her in the rocking chair, and some evenings we spend the night in there cuddling and listening to her sound machine- Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star is our favorite.
Her rocking chair is one of my favorite pieces because all three of us can fit on it! It was Greg’s idea to get a double rocking chair so that we could sit together, and it is the best. Also, my sister painted her bunny paintings that are on her wall, and they make me so happy! They are so cute, and I know that Georgia will always love them, too, because her Auntie Livi made them special for her.
We had so much fun getting her nursery together. We bought her crib and dresser almost as soon as we found out we were having her. We got both of them at Toys R Us, and I was so excited when I found them that I rushed home to get Greg’s truck so that they could load it up for me in because they were closing, and they wouldn’t hold it! I remember running to my car, so excited, calling Greg and telling him that I was getting his truck to buy the nursery furniture, and he was laughing because I sounded like I was in the biggest rush ever, but I was just so excited!
Finally, we love the fluffy rug on her floor. It’s so soft, and perfect for playing on! We found it at Home Goods (our favorite store). Also, picking out her paint was so fun. Finding the perfect shade of pink was a must, and I knew the second I saw this shade of pink that it was the one. Her curtains are also from Home Goods, and Greg spotted them! I was so excited when he pulled them out, and I feel like they are the perfect finishing touch to her room.
Anyway, I can’t wait for all of the stories we get to tell, cuddles we get to have, sweet dreams we get to say, and the good mornings to come in Georgia’s nursery!
I hope you are all having an amazing week!
