Fourth of July was so Sparkly!

I hope you all had a great 4th of July and got to watch pretty fireworks, dress in red, white, and blue, and spend some great time with the ones you love! Greg and I went up to Chicago on the 4th. We originally planned to watch the little bike parade by my grandparents house, but we got stopped by a 4th of July 5K in Bloomington and could not get on the highway in time to make it. We did get to sit on the front porch with my Bebe and Papa which was really nice, and then we went to my Auntie Mar and Uncle Steve’s house for lunch with my whole family, and we even got a big family picture that I love! It was so fun getting to celebrate with everyone!

We then went to dinner at Bub’s City for some barbecue with my sister and her friend, and my brother was our server. It was really perfect because we all got to be together, and then as we were finishing dinner we got to see the fireworks light up the sky.

We ended our night hanging out and chatting in my mom and dad’s backyard.

Anyway, we are off to packing the last little things for our honeymoon right now! Only hours until we leave!!

** I wrote this post right before we left on our honeymoon, and wanted it to post while we were away, but it never did. Anyway, we are home now, and I know it is a little late, but I still wanted to post it. 🙂 Also, I’ll be posting all about our honeymoon very soon! It was amazing!
